About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Python Data Engineer with 8+ years of experience in designing, building, and scaling cloud-native and cloud-agnostic data-backed applications on major cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure. The ideal candidate should have strong backend engineering expertise along with hands-on cloud and Kubernetes deployment experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop scalable and reliable backend services

• Build and maintain cloud-native and cloud-agnostic applications

• Develop and manage RESTful APIs and microservices

• Implement asynchronous and event-driven systems

• Deploy and manage applications in production environments using Kubernetes

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Data, DevOps, and Product

Required Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience deploying applications on Kubernetes in production environments (Mandatory)

• Expertise in at least one public cloud platform (AWS or Azure)

• Strong backend programming skills in Python

• Hands-on experience with cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake or Databricks

• Solid understanding of distributed systems, microservices, and cloud-native architectures

• Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working across multiple cloud platforms

• Experience with multiple cloud data warehouses

• Strong understanding of scalable data platform design

Note:

• 8+ years of experience is mandatory

• Kubernetes production deployment experience is compulsory
