The Reader in Shalya Tantra will be responsible for teaching, research, and clinical practice in the field of Shalya Tantra, which deals with surgical procedures and management of diseases according to Ayurvedic principles.

Key Responsibilities:

1.   Teaching and Education:

§  Teach undergraduate and postgraduate students in Shalya Tantra.

§  Develop and update curriculum, course materials, and teaching methodologies.

2.   Clinical Practice:

§  Provide surgical services in Shalya Tantra at the institution's hospital or clinics.

§  Develop and implement treatment protocols and guidelines.

3.   Research and Publication:

§  Conduct research in Shalya Tantra and publish papers in peer-reviewed journals.

§  Guide students in research projects and dissertations

Requirements:

1.   Qualifications:

§  MS/MD in Shalya Tantra or equivalent from a recognized institution.

§  Teaching experience of minimum 5 year in Shalya Tantra at the undergraduate or postgraduate level.

2.   Skills:

·         Strong knowledge of Ayurvedic surgical principles and practices.

·         Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

·         Ability to work in a team and build strong relationships.
