The Reader in Swasthvritta will be responsible for teaching, research, and academic administration in the field of Swasthvritta, which deals with preventive and promotive healthcare according to Ayurvedic principles.

Key Responsibilities:

1.   Teaching and Education:

§  Teach undergraduate and postgraduate students in Swasthvritta.

§  Develop and update curriculum, course materials, and teaching methodologies.

2.   Research and Publication:

§  Conduct research in Swasthvritta and publish papers in peer-reviewed journals.

§  Guide students in research projects and dissertations.

3.   Health Promotion:

§  Develop and implement health promotion programs for students and community.

§  Collaborate with other departments to promote holistic health.

4.   Administration and Service:

§  Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to administrative decisions.

§  Take on additional responsibilities as assigned by the Head of the Department.

Requirements:

1.   Qualifications:

§  MD/MS in Swasthvritta or equivalent from a recognized institution.

§  Teaching experience of minimum 5 year in Swasthvritta at the undergraduate or postgraduate level.

2.   Skills:

·         Strong knowledge of Ayurvedic principles and practices in preventive and promotive healthcare.

·         Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

·         Ability to work in a team and build strong relationships.
