Role Overview
We are seeking a Salesforce Business Analyst to act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, Salesforce, and downstream enterprise systems. This role is responsible for defining business requirements that span Salesforce, ERP platforms, and analytics environments, ensuring data flows and processes are aligned end to end.
The ideal candidate understands sales operations, enterprise integrations, and data dependencies—and can translate business needs into clear, testable requirements without over-customizing the platform.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with Sales, Marketing, Customer Care, Finance, and IT stakeholders
Elicit, document, and validate business requirements across Salesforce and integrated systems
Define integration requirements between Salesforce and ERP systems (customers, pricing, orders, products, invoices)
Define data requirements supporting reporting, analytics, and downstream BI platforms
Translate requirements into user stories, functional specs, and acceptance criteria
Facilitate process mapping and cross-system workflow design
Act as liaison between business users, Salesforce admins/developers, ERP teams, and data teams
Support UAT across Salesforce, ERP integrations, and analytics outputs
Ensure solutions leverage standard Salesforce capabilities and avoid unnecessary customization
Maintain clear documentation for processes, integrations, and data definitions
Required Experience & Skills
4+ years of experience as a Salesforce Business Analyst
Strong knowledge of Salesforce Sales Cloud and sales processes
Proven experience defining requirements for Salesforce-to-ERP integrations
Experience working with data teams or BI platforms (Power BI, Tableau, or similar)
Strong understanding of data flows, master data, and reporting dependencies
Ability to communicate effectively across business, technical, and data teams
Experience supporting UAT for integrated, multi-system solutions
Key Expectations (Non-Negotiable)
This role owns cross-system requirements, not just Salesforce screens
Data accuracy and consistency across platforms is critical
Preference for configuration and standard integration patterns over customization
Clear documentation and traceability are required
Nice to Have
Experience with manufacturing, distribution, or B2B sales environments
Salesforce certifications (BA, Admin, Sales Cloud)
Experience working with ERP platforms (e.g., SYSPRO, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite)
Exposure to data modeling, reporting, or semantic layers
